What a year it has been! 2024 was filled with wagging tails, head tilts, and more smiles than I can count.
As we head into 2025, I’m excited to share regular updates, behind-the-scenes moments, and tips for making memories with your pets. This blog is just the beginning of a new chapter, and I can’t wait for you to join me along the way!

This year brought so many unforgettable moments. Picking a favorite? Impossible—like asking a parent to choose their favorite child! Events
Giving back is at the heart of Kelly Mac Studios, and 2024 was filled with opportunities to make a difference while celebrating pets and their people.
In April, I attended Goldie Palooza—the world’s largest golden retriever fundraiser and festival. With an astonishing 1,310 golden retrievers in attendance, the event raised an incredible $61,334.43 to support Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue. I was honored to take the group photo and capture portraits of the "VIG" (Very Important Golden) ticket holders to commemorate the day.
In May, Kelly Mac Studios teamed up with Pet Wants in Chino for a Gallery Wall Contest, raising funds for Rebel Ranch—a local nonprofit dedicated to mental health awareness and fitness through the help of dogs and horses.
July brought me to Quartermania, where we helped raise funds for I.C.A.R.E.—the same rescue that brought my heart dog into my life 11 years ago. Supporting them was deeply meaningful to me.
Finally, Dogtoberfest 2024 was a standout highlight! This wonderful event raised funds for Friends of Upland Animal Shelter. Meeting so many pet lovers and showcasing my work made it a truly memorable experience.

In 2024, Kelly Mac Studios focused on creating tangible pieces of "Heartwork" that bring your pet's personality to life. From stunning wall art to premium memory boxes and deluxe albums, these products found their way into homes and hearts. Looking ahead to 2025, I’m thrilled to unveil even more unique offerings designed to celebrate the love you share with your pets—stay tuned for the big reveals!
Personal Milestones
Learning and growing as a photographer is something I’m deeply passionate about. In May, I had the incredible opportunity to attend a retreat in the breathtaking Scottish Highlands with renowned photographers Ewan Cheyne and Kristen Murray. Alongside seven other talented dog-tographers, I discovered exciting new on-location techniques and, perhaps most thrilling of all, got my first hands-on experience crafting magic in-studio.
LESSONS LEARNED AND GRATITUDE
One lesson that stood out this year is the power of connection—not just with pets but with their people. Your stories inspire my work every day, and I’m endlessly grateful for the opportunity to create lasting memories for you.
